CPR/AED for Lifeguard Classes
Prerequisites
- Minimum age of 15. Proof of age required (Driver's License or Birth Certificate).
- Swim 300 yards demonstrating the Front Crawl or Breaststroke only.
- Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using the front crawl, surface dive 7-10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object and exit the water without using a ladder or steps, within 1 minute, 40 seconds.
New Certification Course–$175.00
Refresher Certification Course–$125.00
(If participants do not pass the prerequisite swim, only $150.00 is refundable. If participants are a "no-show" or cancels enrollment less than 72 hours before class start date only $125.00 is refundable.)
